Start with a Heart

Using a heart motif as our inspiration and starting point,

students will design and draw their own folk-art pattern to hook in a

striated and scrappy style with large-cut or hand-torn wools, velvets, and silks.

We'll have fun creating a design uniquely yours, just in time for a

Valentine's Day gift or a sweet remembrance of someone special.

and the wonderful teachers and vendors who find their way to the Missouri area Hook-Ins.

Elinor loves early antique-inspired and folk-art designs, and collaborating with hookers on custom patterns,

helping each hooker achieve their creative vision for their personal project.

She has been published in Rug Hooking Magazine, taught sessions on color planning,
